About the Conference
Reading for the Love of It, RFTLOI, is an annual language arts conference bringing together local, national and international authorities in the field of literacy. This unique professional development opportunity takes place over two days and offers:

Registration is open online leading up to the conference as well as onsite during the conference.

Reading for the Love of It 2027
The 49th annual Reading for the Love of It conference is taking place on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19, 2027 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Early-bird registration will open on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 9:00am. The discounted early-bird rates are available until August 31st, 2026. On Friday, July 3, 2026 at 9:00am, we will begin accepting applications and bookings for exhibit booth rentals and advertising in the digital programme.
