Brightspace is a dynamic and powerful online learning platform. Its Portfolio feature empowers your students and facilitates meaningful, transparent communication with families. Portfolio also supports your pedagogical documentation, assessment, evaluation and reporting. Brightspace Portfolio has a direct link to assessing and documenting reading, writing and oral communication. Since Portfolio can include audio recordings of students reading out loud, these recordings can be used for assessment and evaluation. Students can hear themselves read and do self-assessment, and families can hear their children read. Educators can give feedback directly in Portfolio. Portfolio can include photographs of reading responses so educators can assess how well a student understands a given text.
