Description
Stories are at the heart of English Language Arts. But how might we make students’ reading experiences of narratives more immersive, meaningful and enjoyable? This interactive workshop will explore a variety of strategies and approaches that help students make and find meaning in texts through the senses: auditory, visual and tactile. The strategies include opportunities for students to monitor their comprehension, analyze and interpret meaning, and find joy in their reading experience.
