Description
This session will provide participants with practical strategies for selecting books and inviting students to respond to literature. Recent publications of noteworthy picture books, fiction and nonfiction titles, centred on equity issues and confronting hate, will be highlighted. Examples of response strategies (particularly writing) will be explored. Handout provided.
