The World of Mélanie Watt

In a nutshell, Mélanie shares how she dove into the world of children’s books while studying design at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She discusses inspirations for her picture books as well as early sketches that lead to the look of her best-known characters such as “the worrywart” Scaredy Squirrel, “the self-centered” Chester, “the colorful” Leon the chameleon, “the artistic” Augustine and “the impatient” Bunny from You’re finally here!
