Gender identity and expression is a topic that is relevant to every student, and to ourselves. Norms, stereotypes and expectations of gender limit and confine us all. Join us to expand your understanding of gender, and to explore picture books and novels that challenge the binary, cisgendered, socially constructed single story of gender identity and expression, that is often reinforced in our schools. Our students need these stories and so do we!
