Description

In college composition (Kittle’s version) this fall, we studied the power and influence of Taylor Swift as a reader, writer, influencer, and creator. We examined and created stories (both real and imagined), playing with perspective and point of view, used digital tools as art forms to communicate ideas in sound and image, and argued with evidence about Taylor’s work. We experimented with voice recordings, documentaries, and digital essays. Our daily notebook work led students to construct identities as learners, as critical, engaged thinkers, and of course, as skillful writers. I will share All the Things that happened.
