Description

Reading an author’s words ignites an imaginary adventure between reader and author – a partnership. In this session, Eileen White OCT, teacher, tutor and resource developer shares practical methods for teachers and parents to support beginners to make words come alive. Activities begin by blending sounds into decodable words, reading these words with comprehension and expression, and using them to create new stories. Children build delight in the intertwined processes of reading and writing right from the beginning of their literacy journey!
