Description

Where does resilience come from? We can’t make a kid change and we certainly can’t force growth. Consequences only work for the students that care about them—which means they often don’t work for the toughest, most prickly kids—those who are the hardest to reach. So, what can educators do when faced with this reality? How can we truly foster change? Today’s classrooms are facing an unprecedented wave of emotional health crises and behavioral challenges. Teachers everywhere are feeling the strain, struggling to lead and care for children in an increasingly complex environment. Now, more than ever, we need to rethink our approach and create the conditions that nurture real, lasting change. Drawing from her newly released book, Sometimes I Feel That Way Too, Hannah’s workshop dives into the science of emotion and shares practical, relational strategies for reducing aggression and building resilience. We’ll explore the underlying emotions that drive challenging behaviors and discuss how to address aggression at its root—moving beyond simply managing behaviours to creating meaningful breakthroughs. Join Hannah for an inspiring and empowering workshop designed to re-energize educators. Discover the critical role your leadership plays in shaping resilient, emotionally healthy students—leadership that is needed now more than ever.
