Description

Joyful readers are capable and confident, eager to read and engage with challenging texts as they become fluent and proficient in literacy skills. How can we ensure that all of our youngest learners have a solid foundation that will support their literacy learning while staying true to the importance of play, joy and inquiry in the early years? Join Katie as she shares evidence-based best practices that have evolved from her years as a literacy specialist and classroom teacher in kindergarten, to embrace a “both-and” approach of joyful & playful literacy learning grounded in current literacy research.
