Description

Ready to supercharge your inquiry-based classroom with the power of AI? This dynamic session will explore how artificial intelligence can empower students as creators, problem-solvers, and independent thinkers. We’ll dive into how student-facing AI tools, such as adaptive writing platforms, real-time feedback systems, and image generators can elevate engagement, strengthen literacy skills, and support cross-curricular learning through STEAM.

Rather than fearing misuse, we’ll reframe AI as a powerful catalyst for curiosity, creativity, and identity-driven inquiry. You’ll learn how AI tools can help students design solutions, tell their stories, explore new perspectives, and personalize their learning journeys. Whether they’re researching, building, coding, writing, or reflecting, students can use AI to take charge of their learning and deepen their understanding.

In this session we will explore classroom-ready examples, recommend tools, and give practical strategies to integrate AI into your inquiry-based, cross-curricular programming, all while keeping student voice, agency, and equity at the centre of all learning. Walk away with a toolkit to help every student feel visible, heard, and empowered in your 21st-century classroom.
