
Abeer Mohammed (she/her/hers)
Abeer Mohammed is a proud Eritrean, Black Muslim educator with almost 20 years of experience centering relationship-building and high expectations in classrooms. She holds a Master’s in Education focused on social justice, policy, and procedures, and co-authored On Stage from the Sankofa Series, highlighting Black Canadian contributions. Now an Instructional Coach at Peel District School Board’s Centre of Black Excellence, she designs workshops rooted in Black joy, brilliance, and Dr. Gholdy Muhammad’s 5 Pursuits—anchored in knowledge, unity, love, and liberatory joy. Abeer continues to have a deep commitment to cultivating spaces where students feel seen, valued, and empowered.
