Amanda Baric (she/her/hers)

Amanda Baric is a Program Associate with Facing History and Ourselves Canada. She has been a high school English and Canadian and World Studies educator for twenty years and has recently completed her M.A. in Curriculum and Pedagogy, with an emphasis in Wellbeing in Education and Indigenous Education and Decolonization at OISE, University of Toronto. She has developed and delivered trauma-sensitive group wellness workshops and communities of practice for pre-service teachers, and works closely with local cancer support communities, offering therapeutic yoga. She is passionate about advocating for and modelling holistic and culturally responsive approaches to learning that help foster balance, connection, and inclusion.
