Ashley Barron (she/her/hers)
Ashley Barron’s illustrations appear in more than twenty picture books, including My City Speaks by Darren Lebeuf (Kids Can Press, Schneider Family Book Award), Chaiwala! by Priti Birla Maheshwari (Owlkids, TD Grade One Book Giveaway) and City Baby by Laurie Elmquist (Orca, Bank Street Best Books of the Year). She’s the author and illustrator of Love You Head to Toe and Three City Kitties (Owlkids Books). Her most recent titles include Shy Me and Lonely Me by Sandra V Feder (Groundwood Books) and A Visit with the Birds by Sara Levine (Sourcebooks). Ashley lives in Toronto with her cinematographer partner, Kevin and four cats. She enjoys gardening, cycling, and sharing her paper collage process with students of all ages.
