Chantelle McGuire (she/her/hers)

Chantelle McGuire is a Junior/Intermediate teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, bringing over a decade of K–12 teaching experience from both Canada and abroad. Also having a professional background in Marketing and Publishing, helps her to blend her industry insights with a passion for experiential, community-connected learning to create a well-rounded program addressing all areas of the curriculum. Chantelle’s teaching is grounded in design thinking and the purposeful integration of technology to enhance student engagement and to help students build their future-ready digital skills. Her classroom is a hub of creativity where students can often be found engaging in engineering challenges, modeling future cities using the design process, and exploring coding with tools like Micro:bit. She frequently collaborates with organizations such as Logics Academy and Let’s Talk Science to extend STEM learning beyond the textbook. Additionally, Chantelle finds practical ways to integrate A.I. into everyday teaching to spark curiosity, personalize learning, and to support 21st-century literacy development. She also understands the importance of teaching students how to safely and ethically use A.I. as a learning tool.
