
Denise Benjamin (she/her/hers)
Denise Benjamin is a proud Afro-Caribbean K–12 educator from Mississauga, Ontario, and a third-generation teacher who carries forward a legacy of excellence in education. Currently serving as an Instructional Coach with the Peel District School Board at The Centre of Black Excellence, Denise works in partnership with classroom educators, resource teachers, and school leaders to design culturally and historically responsive learning experiences. Denise was recognized with a Peel District School Board Education Week Award of Excellence (2023) and the Peel Elementary Teachers’ Local President’s Award (2023), alongside a dynamic team of educators committed to equity and transformation.
