
Emilia Stachowicz (she/her/hers)
Emilia Stachowicz is an experienced primary teacher since 2002 with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. She is currently teaching Kindergarten at St. Martin de Porres Catholic School located in Toronto, Ontario. She has been an active member of the Ontario College of Teachers since the beginning of her career. Emilia has a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Early Childhood Education, from Toronto Metropolitan University. She completed her teaching degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education University of Toronto (OISE), as well as a master’s degree in education at York University. Emilia has maintained a strong focus in delivering unique and innovative opportunities towards play-based learning. She encourages child-directed activities that promote independence and positive self-esteem in young children.
