Emmanuelle Le Pichon

Emmanuelle Le Pichon (she/her/hers)

Emmanuelle Le Pichon is Associate Professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto, and Head of the Centre de Recherches en Éducation Franco‑Ontarienne (CRÉFO). She is the co‑founder of Language Friendly Schools, an international initiative that supports equitable, linguistically inclusive school environments through teacher‑led knowledge generation and collaboration. Since 2009, she has led multiple international and interdisciplinary research projects on multilingual education, migration, and the inclusion of minoritized students. Her work spans research, policy analysis, program evaluation, and consulting for international organizations. She collaborates closely with educators, families, and Indigenous partners in Canada, Europe, and the Global South to advance socially just, language‑affirming educational practices.
