Gina Marion is the National Literacy Consultant for Rubicon Publishing. With over 30 years of experience as an educator, coach, and consultant in K–8 literacy, Gina has worked extensively with school boards to support literacy instruction that is both evidence-based and culturally responsive. Gina’s expertise centres on structured literacy grounded in the Science of Reading, combined with a deep commitment to equity, student identity, and joyful learning. She has presented on literacy instruction, early years education, and inclusive classroom practices, helping educators build connections between foundational skills and authentic engagement. As a mom and educator, Gina understands the importance of creating learning environments where every child sees themselves as a capable reader and feels a true sense of belonging.
