
Heather Fry (she/her/hers)
Heather has held a variety of roles in the Durham District School Board including classroom educator and Literacy and Numeracy Coach/Facilitator (K to 8). In her role as Literacy and Numeracy Facilitator, Heather contributed significantly to the development of system and school-based literacy professional learning sessions, materials, and resources. Her knowledge and passion for literacy programming has inspired many educators and school leaders to reflect on their own knowledge and practice and to determine next steps to support literacy learning outcomes and experiences for their students. Currently Heather is leading literacy learning and engaging staff in setting school literacy goals in her role as a DDSB school administrator.
