Heather Newman (she/her/hers)
Heather Newman is the North West Regional Coordinator for the Council of Ontario Drama and Dance Educators (CODE). She has presented across the province, including as a panelist for “Drama and Dance For The Future” at the 2025 CODE Conference and as a workshop leader at CODE on The Road Conference: Kenora in 2023. Her work in arts education also includes a published article in the Provocations Drama and Dance Journal, working as an Artist In Residence for the Keewatin Patricia District School Board in both elementary and secondary schools, and facilitating outreach by Manitoba Theatre for Young People and Manitoba Theatre Centre to rural schools in Northwestern Ontario. She currently teaches Drama in Kenora for the Keewatin Patricia District School Board.
