
Jennifer Cicero (she/her/hers)
Currently a Vice Principal for the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), Jennifer Cicero has been a teacher for the TCDSB since 2012. Previously a Music Instructor at several schools in the Elementary panel, she moved on to teach Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, and English in Secondary schools. She then moved into the role of Department Head of English & ESL, as well as Literacy Lead at her school.
Jennifer focuses her teaching, leading, and learning on inclusive, culturally responsive education and inquiry-based practices. Recently, Jennifer has presented at education-related speaking engagements, such as at the Reading For the Love of It Conference 2025, as well as participating as guest-speaker for Principal Qualification Program hosted by the TCDSB in the fall 2025 session.
Jennifer is also a writer and has been published in education journals, as a lifestyle blogger for a women’s online community, and as a poet. She released her first children’s book in 2021. Jennifer is the founder of LJMM Press, a classical musician, and a mom of four boys.
