
Karen Filewych (she/her/hers)
Karen Filewych has over twenty-five years of educational experience as a teacher, school administrator, and language arts consultant. She has a Master of Education degree in the area of literacy. She is the author of four Pembroke titles including How Do I Get Them to Write?, Freewriting with Purpose, Literacy Leadership Matters, and her most recent Literacy Instruction Matters. She is the senior author of the Pearson resources Bug Club Morphology, and the newly released Literacy Success Foundations, which supports students in grades 4 and up with foundational reading skills.
