
Karen Filewych (she/her/hers)
Karen Filewych enjoys sharing her love of literacy with students, teachers, and parents. She has a Master of Education degree in the area of literacy and over twenty-five years of educational experience as an elementary teacher, school administrator, and language arts consultant. Karen is the author of four Pembroke titles including Literacy Instruction Matters which provides literacy support to elementary teachers of all grade levels. She is also the senior author of the Pearson resources Bug Club Morphology, and the newly released Literacy Success Foundations, which supports students in grades 4 and up with foundational reading skills.
