Kari-Lynn Winters (she/her/hers)
Dr. Kari-Lynn Winters is an award-winning Canadian children’s author, literacy educator, performer, and Full Professor at Brock University. A former elementary teacher, she has written more than 40 books that inspire children to read, move, imagine, and create, including I Am a Growl, What If I’m Not a Cat?, All Our Love, Jeffrey and Sloth, and French Toast. Passionate about literacy through drama, play, and performance, Kari-Lynn presents internationally on literacy, children’s literature, arts education, Storywalks™, and the processes of authorship and publishing. Kari-Lynn lives in St. Catharines, Ontario with her daughter and two adorable cats.
