Kathryn Lagerquist (she/her/hers)
Kathryn Lagerquist is a Teacher-Librarian and literacy educator with the Peel District School Board. With nearly 20 years of experience from Kindergarten to Grade 7, she has served as a Literacy Instructional Coach and ISSP/ESL Support Teacher, supporting students and educators through structured literacy, early reading instruction, and play-based learning. Kathryn is passionate about creating identity-affirming, equitable learning environments and sharing practical, research-informed literacy practices. Her commitment to equity and inclusion was recognized with the 2024–2025 ETFO Anti-Racist and Equity Activism Award (Women’s Program).
