Kathy Kacer is an acclaimed writer of stories about the Holocaust geared to a young readership. Her many books include By Chance Alone (published by Harper Collins), The Secret of Gabi’s Dresser, Hiding Edith, To Hope and Back, Memory Stones (all published by Second Story Press), as well as many others. A winner of numerous Forest of Reading Awards, Kathy speaks in schools and at conferences around the world about the importance of Holocaust Education and working with sensitive material in the classroom.
