Kristine Mraz (she/her/hers)
Kristine Mraz was an award winning teacher in the New York City public schools and the coauthor of several influential books for educators, including Kids First from Day One, A Mindset for Learning, and Purposeful Play, as well as Smarter Charts and Smarter Charts for Math, Science, and Social Studies. Kristi has spent her career championing child-centered, play-based, and inquiry-driven approaches in public schools. Beyond the classroom, she consults with schools across the country and internationally, and now, having relocated to Southern California, she continues that work through writing, speaking, and coaching while building out The Curious Learners Collective, a thinking space for early elementary educators.
