
Laura Ribeiro (she/her/hers)
Laura Ribeiro is an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching expertise in the secondary panel. Previously, Laura has held leadership positions including department head, Literacy Resource and currently as the Lead De-Streaming Teacher at the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). Her professional passions include Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and fostering collaborative learning environments. Laura supports Grade 9 teachers and facilitators in implementing effective strategies for de-streamed classrooms. She also plays a pivotal role in aiding students’ transition from elementary to secondary school, ensuring equitable and inclusive learning opportunities for all.
