Marsha Skrypuch (she/her/hers)
Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch is a Canadian author of Ukrainian heritage acclaimed for her nonfiction and historical fiction for young people, including Making Bombs for Hitler and Winterkill. Her newest work is the Kidnapped from Ukraine trilogy, set during the first year of the current war in Ukraine. She will be referencing this trilogy during her presentation. A federal government librarian before she wrote books, Marsha’s scrupulously researched books shed light on topics rarely touched in literature for youth.
