
Sean Henderson (he/him/his)
Sean Henderson is currently the Assistant Curriculum Leader (ACL) of Anti-Oppressive Practices and Literacy Development for Student Success, at Central Technical School in Toronto. Sean is the co-founder of the JETS Program, along with his colleague Rachel Cooke, which has become the predominant methodology of teaching Grade 9 English classes in the TDSB. Sean has been a leader in destreaming English classrooms, creating literacy support programs, and has presented Professional Development sessions to thousands of teachers. Sean has also presented at several Literacy conferences such as Celebrating Linguistic Diversity, and the Adolescent Literacy Conference and Reading for the Love of It.
