Sheree Fitch (she/her/hers)
Sheree Fitch is a poet, storyteller, literacy advocate, educator, and “story doula.” Her award-winning books, from Toes in My Nose (Doubleday 1987) to Sleeping Dragons All Around (Dd 1989) and Summer Feet (Nimbus 2022), have inspired three generations of children. An Officer of the Order of Canada and recipient of the 2025 Writers’ Trust Matt Cohen Award, she holds three honorary doctorates for her contributions to Canadian letters.
