Souvankham Thammavongsa (she/her/hers)
Souvankham Thammavongsa is the author of seven books, including HOW TO PRONOUNCE KNIFE and PICK A COLOUR, for which she won the Gillier prize twice. Her stories have also appeared in THE NEW YORKER, HARPER’S MAGAZINE, THE PARIS REVIEW, and GRANTA. She was born in the Lao refugee camp in Thailand, and educated at public schools where she now lives in Toronto.
