Vikki VanSickle

Vikki VanSickle is an established member of the Canadian children’s book world. Frequently referred to as Canada’s Judy Blume, her novels include P.S. Tell No One, The Lightning Circle, and the Red Maple award-winning The Winnowing. Her picture books include Into the Goblin Market, official Dolly Parton Imagination Library selection Teddy Bear of the Year, and the best-selling If I Had a Gryphon. Vikki spent twelve years in children’s publishing. When not writing, she teaches creative writing for children at University of Guelph and curates a monthly all-Canadian kids’ book segment for CTV Your Morning. She presents to hundreds of Canadian children a year.
