Description

With a new initiative in place to begin Holocaust education in grade 6, To Hope and Back is a valuable resource in the classroom. Educators chose this book for its ability to provide sensitive, age-appropriate historical context for the grade 6 social studies curriculum expectations related to the Holocaust and Jewish history in Canada. Kathy Kacer will discuss the book and its importance in learning about the Holocaust for young readers.
