
Evelyn Paris (she/her/hers)
Evelyn Paris has been an educator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board since 1998. Joining the staff at her former high school in North Toronto, she began her career teaching in both the English and Canadian & World Studies departments, and after several years, became the Canadian & World Studies and Humanities Department Head. In 2013 Evelyn accepted a secondment at the Faculty of Education at York University where she spent several exciting years serving as a Course Director and Practicum Facilitator for pre-service teacher-candidates. In 2017 Evelyn joined the TCDSB’s Literacy Resource Team, supporting K-12 teachers with their Language Arts curriculum. In 2023 she joined the Board’s Indigenous Education, Equity, and Community Relations Department, and is currently serving as one of three Equity Resource Teachers for the board.
