
Adrienne Gear (she/her/hers)
Adrienne Gear has been an elementary teacher in Vancouver, Canada for over 25 years. She is passionate about literacy, learning and inspiring teachers to reflect and refine their practice to best support their students. Her practical and engaging workshops and webinars are in high demand, and she presents at schools and conferences across Canada and internationally in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Sweden. She is the author of 9 professional books on effective literacy instruction for elementary and middle grade teachers (published by Pembroke Publishers) which have been translated into French, Danish, Swedish and Chinese. She is the mother of two sons and lives in the beautiful interior of British Columbia, with her husband and their dog, Maggie.
