Adrienne Gear (she/her/hers)
Adrienne Gear is an experienced elementary educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience with the Vancouver School Board. She is passionate about literacy learning and helping teachers reflect and refine their practice in meaningful and practical ways. She is the author of nine professional books for educators and is well known for her engaging, classroom-ready approach to literacy instruction. Her tenth book, Powerful Read Alouds, will be released in late 2026. Her workshops and webinars are in high demand across Canada and internationally, and she has presented in the US, UK, Australia, and Sweden. Adrienne lives in Kelowna, BC, with her husband and beloved dog, Maggie.
